87 f250 302 391 swap
ok, I've got a coulpe of questions. I have a 87 f250 with a 302. First of all, my truck's front wheels are leaning in at the top, /--\. Someone told me that it was my ball joints. But I'm not sure if thats the problem. I don't know if its the front leaf springs, maybe they are getting weak or something. Secondly, A friend of mine has a truck sitting out in his yard that he said I could have if I wanted it. It has no body on it, but all the supension, engine, tanny, etc is still there. I don't know what year it is but my friend said the engine is a 391. From looking around on the net, it sounds like the 391 was used in larger f series in the 70's. So I was wondering if any of that stuff is of any use to me with my 87 f250. My truck's rear leaf springs have some broken leafs. bacisly is there any chance of steeling anything off of it, or are the trucks to far apart in years to have any similarities. Also would the engine swap over?

Yeah your front springs are sacked, get a new set or add a leaf.
The 390 won't be a direct swap into your truck, some fabrication likely necessary, things like engine mounts, cross members, driveshafts. It won't bolt to your existing tranny either unless it has a detatchable bell housing, then there's a chance.
