I'm an Atheist. My "church" is a long motorcycle ride through the mountains on a beautiful Sunday. Unless it's raining...

I can definitely enjoy the long ride through the mountains. I am a christian and i find that a ride on the bike can be extremely spiritual. got to go to church today for the first time in a while and enjoyed every minute of it.

Exactly.

I'd much rather die and find out I was wrong and God doesn't exist than die not believing and find out that God exists.

I am a follower of christ. in fact I am in a christian leadership program called sowers (students of the word equipped and running to serve) you can check it out at sowersonline.com
anyway...we belive in studying the Bible to see what God says and not what people have changed his words to mean to them over the years. BUT i aint got a religious bone in my body. Religion is just man made denominations and rules. (not bashing any group so please dont take me wrong) we like to chill with a few beers, we cuss a little, things do get a little off color sometimes, but if you need healing or a need met in life, we'll be the first ones to pray with ya. And when we say that you will be in our prayers we mean it. Anyway just wanted to throw my 3 cents in there.

Amen brother. I was born and raised Catholic and when I turned 18 I left the church. Mom and dad left the church too and now go to a bible based church. Dad and I get along alot better now.

I go to church every time I can. Tomorrow will be the first time I've been to church in a month, though.

Baptised and confirmed Lutheran, but I think my stomach is Methodist. Mother's a Catholic convert.

But, really, as far as I'm concerned, men built churches, God made the outdoors, so I know where the best place to find the Lord is, and it isn't necessarily in some stuffy building with old ladies who look at me funny!

Church is good for conrigating like the Bible says we should. I don't really like it because I'm not scocial, but I believe a person does need to go to Church, just to help his own Soul. The Pastor is supposed to be annointed by God and led by God, and therfore the pastor can bring to light things hidden in the Bible you might not pick up by just staying home and reading it yourself.
