additives are a must, i have been mixing 2 stroke oil with power services white bottle, 1 quart of the 50/50 mix per tank - no issues yet!
be careful putting any amount of bio in your truck, it has a washdown effect that de-algaes the fuel lines and tanks and washes it all up into the filter. its not uncommon to clog 3 filters within one fuel tank after putting bio in. also.....it "dissolves" rubber, so the fuel lines will get spongy and blow out unless they are changed out to the special ones.
i was just really suprised he found it cheaper than regular #2, around here its like $2 more per gallon...NOT WORTH IT!
congrats Mr. President!
HAPPY FRIDAY!

My thoughts on the Biodiesel:
I wonder if the B100 place was selling off the remnants of his stock and thus the steep discount.
And any reasonable person would have only added a few gallons of the B100 to make their own B5 or B10 blend.
When available at my local fueling station I buy their B5 all the time - and - regardless I run diesel fuel treatment all year long.
Diesel Fuel Supplement® +Cetane Boost is most prevalent around my area, but it doesn't mention biodiesel applications.
I prefer Stanadyne Performance Formula and that's what I'm using now - but - I don't go out of my way to get it, nor order it shipped to me.
It says "Can be used with Bio Diesel Fuel up to B5 (5% bio content approved ) - increased water separation shown in bio content up to B20."
I hope with my 'daily' dose of 'vitamins' that my fuel system will remain healthy and not sloth off anything as Aaron mentioned.
As for Ford's endorsement of Biodiesel in my 2006, the Diesel Supplement Owner's Manual says:

Page 29 - "Diesel fuel containing no more than 5% biodiesel may be used. ... Since it is normal for a small amount of unburned fuel to enter the crankcase and mix with the engine oil, the use of biodiesel requires that the engine oil and filter be changed more often."
Page 63 - "... change the engine oil and filter every 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or 200 hours of engine operation (whichever comes first)."
