Does anyone have a high rez exploded view of a 74 Automatic column?
You know one that shows all the parts.

 

This is the best I can do..it's for a 73 with auto. This is only a partial shot of the upper section, the bottom is pretty simple, a bushing and sleeve and a spring, along with the shaft and shift tube. If you can't get this to blow up and it it doesn't explain what you are looking for, let me know and I'll try to get you the full column shot.

If you are looking for a particular part, give me the number on the drawing and I should be able to reference it to the Ford part #. I was given my truck by my granddad who lived in Nashville, and we are regular visitors to your neck of the woods.....Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area....so I have ties to TN as well.

What is the trick to re-assembling the column? I can get everything lined up, but can't for the life of me, figure out how to get the two column flange bolts to stay in place.
I thought about taping them there, but really don't want to have the tape left inside the column.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Never mind. I finally got it figured out. It was easier than it appeared to be.
