I took this picture at work today, i just got back from out of town. I know you asked for a pic last week diesel beast. It looks better if you zoom in, it was taken with my phone, i'm no photographer.

You need at least 25 posts for imbedded pics, and a supporter tag for attachments.

Use a link from Photobucket in the meantime.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it! Your truck is sweet too, the next thing on my list is an HID headlight kit.

my 06 F150 Screw XLT

Hi Folks! Bought this beauty last year, had it sit while I researched and bought mods and accessories. I work a lot in Africa so just shipped it down to Ghana, waiting now to clear it at the port this week. These are pictures from the dealer, and the shipping warehouse in Atlanta before the voyage. Had a friend install the brush guard for me in Atlanta; I'll be upgrading the wheels (matt black XD Addicts), tires (Nitto Trail Grapplers), headlamps (Spyder HID HALO projectors) and tail lights (Spec-D LEDs) and installing a 3" leveling kit as soon as it's out. Will post 'after' pix as well as some of the truck in it's very new and different environment when done.

Yeah FordSter, I did consider replacing the emblem for a minute: found them even cheaper than that on eBay - $25-45, but then I decided to replace the entire grille with an aluminum billet one and lose the emblem entirely. Weather down here's like Florida (which is where I got the truck) on steroids; new emblem might fare just as badly as the original. So that's another mod that's going on.

There are replacement. Covers on eBay that just glue over the original emblems. They look just like OEM but are like $10

I think I saw those too, but I wasn't sure how they'd hold up over time, I'm a firm believer in the adage that you get what you pay for!

Also planning to put three fog lights on the brush guard, add a roof rack and put five more fogs up top; change the exhaust to a dual side exit cat-back and replace the cold air intake system with an Air Raid or K&N system, then get an Edge programmer.

I've had mine on for a year and it still looks the same as when installed. Can't be to worse then a OEM that completely fades after 5 years

Good point, Brandon! I just opted to change it out and put in a grill that has no emblem at all. One less thing to worry about!
