Hey Turbo - Is that a 4X4 without the stickers on the bed? What year?
Still looking good Still Smoking... if you're really bored take off your nerf bars, snap a few pics to compare and see how you like that look. I took mine off and like the look. Nerf bars alone are worthless after mud/snow anyway cause they get covered in it.

I took them off one time to repaint them and I liked the way they looked just not when I got out of the truck cause Im use to using them when getting out. When I get in the truck 9 times out of 10 I dont use them. One day I will take them off and take a few pics.

Yeah. It's a 2006, and was like that when I bought it a couple weeks ago.
I was thinking of putting 265/70R17s on her. But what are the maximum sized off-road tires I can get without rubbing or bumping? These stock tires have to go and soon. I take her out geo-caching all over the place, not sure if these tires can take the cactus needles, broken glass, rocks, etc. Plus even just 1/2 inch extra clearance would be welcomed.

Those will be O.K. on my OEM wheels? That would be awesome, some good extra rubber for the places we meander off into.
Yeah those should be fine. I bought a set in that side and though they were rubbing so I installed a leveling kit only to find out that they were just catching on the mud flaps I installed. So that size should be just fine on stock wheels since that's what I have too.

I ended up doing the 265/70R17s. General A/Ts, LT type. The guy at the tire store recommended against putting the even larger tires on as it might put too much pressure on the sidewalls, depending on what I am doing with them.
The new tires are great so far! Been putting them through the ringer on our geo caching trips. Gas mileage has dropped a tad.
