Dave, I do believe that as a flagger, you can get a plate number and report someone like that. Most troopers would write her for reckless endangerment on that one.
When I worked for the WVDOH, I did my share of flagging. We had one guy who had some kind of heavy metal rod in the bottom of his flag and when people would not stop he would throw it breaking their windshield. He got their attention and caused quite a commotion but no one got run over.
OK, I'm slow replying but I'm cool with the roster idea. As for people ignoring "flaggers" I saw one yesterday nearly hit the guy out on I-81 at exit 8 where they are going to take the overpass from 2 lane to 4 lane, and darn the number of people that run my loading lights on the bus, pure idiots. I have discovered that they seem to pay more attention to my 4 way flashers than the loading lights, I think it's because the loading lights are up so high and they dont look there. Im trying to get the "flashing headlights" ordered/retro fitted on our buses.
It was good talking to you, and I will check my schedule to see about going to Carlisle. Maybe I can go to NY first and stop there on my way home. I am hoping to be able to leave around July 10th, so it might work.
Also, thanks for the info about the cracked lens on my drivers side mirror. It's not leaking right now, but I'll kep an eye out for a replacement. What a STUPID way to make a marker light setup.
