A Good Deal?

I'm looking at a 05 f350 crew short bed lariat package. It has 66k miles on it, fully loaded, leather seats, power everything, rhino lining, 4 brand new tires. There asking 24,000 for it. Just wondering if the price sounds about right. Thanks

Sounds like you should be able to talk 'em down some. A little bit high to me, but i guess it depends where you live. Also, it might be more reasonable if it's really well maintained. Get the VIN and have an OASIS report done to check the warranty history.

x2. You should be able to get an 06 w/ less miles for those $'s.

Two weeks ago I saw a 2006 350 dually king ranch with 68k (close to that, not sure anymore) on a dealers lot in Colorado Springs. They were asking just under $21k for it.

Def way to much money for that truck, unless you KNOW it was very well maintained. I got my 08 ext cab fx4 6.4L with 12,000 miles on it for $28k, every option besides leather and moonroof.

Oasis report said that both head gaskets were replaced and the turbo was replaced and recalibrate engine control modules from recall list. Don't know about routine maintenance.

It seems as if a tuner may have been in use, since both the head gaskets have been replaced. Although, it could have just been due to towing or other causes. Still, for that money, and the problems it has had, i would pass on this offer, unless, they could get the price down to $19k. I know that seems low, but, its almost out of warranty, way too much for that year and mileage as is, and like metioned before, you can find yourself a newer one with less mileage for same/cheaper price.

Sounds pretty high on price to me, especially with those things having been replaced...
