01 Ex V10 Limited Tranny issues

I posted a while ago about my issue that has not happened again until today. The tranny jolted and now it is slow, hard to get past 2nd, and makes a high pitched winning sound, like pressure being released, when I let off the pedal.
No warning lights, no blinking overdrive off light, like last time. I shifted it into 2nd and made it home. I do not think it will make it to the repair shop without a flatbed. Any ideas on what the issue would be?

Thanks
dpurcell

Have you tried posting your problem in the Transmission forum?

http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum69/

There is a gentleman that frequents that forum who was an automatic transmission engineer for Ford, and has helped out countless members. Hope it's nothing too serious.
