Roads weren't that bad this morning. Passed a few slat trucks coming up 109 into Gallatin. Drove the Fusion since my truck is in a disassembled state now....

here the snow has already slowed down. The roads are relatively still clear. just wet. Got Temp tags for my Flareside. Thankfully was out of school so i had time to do that.

Got off work @ 8am; drove the better have up to Ft. Campbell; I-24 all ice from exit 11 up to & thru Kentucky. Only really bad spot was exit 86 in Kentucky; always a pile up there. Kinda like turn four @ Daytona.
Drop her off and headed home, within a 1 1/2 round trip the road where like night and day difference.
Hope this evening will be good too.
Let's here it for those salt trucks, long hours and no love!!!! Hope youre having a safe day Tim.
the snow earlier at bout 8:30 on the way back from the lawyers office in the boro it was snowing but like i said by 9:30 it was slowing down. now all the snow has melted. nothing left but freakin mud. as a matter of fact the pic thats now in my sig was taken today at bout 11. see no snow. but before that the truck was covered in a paper thin layer of snow.

I'm working 3rd shift now, so I had a ringside seat to all the Memphis happenings. We had a lot of rain and the temps stayed at 33 or 34 degrees through most of it. At about 5:15 the snow started. We had about an inch fall in about 2 hours. Just enough to get the schools closed. Some just as the kids were arriving. My kids were about half way there. Nobody was going anyway. Now its about 28 degrees and most of the snow is still around. I'll be leaving in a few hours. I hope the streets aren't too bad.

It wasn't bad here. The streets were clear by 9 am.The snow is almost gone.It dried up enough for me to burn up my old tires.I'm getting a new set in the morning so I did a few smoky burnouts with the old ones today.Snow always brings out the kid in me.

We got just a bit of ice on the trees the night before last, but not really anything noteworthy today. I went to to Portland this morning, visibility was poor on 65, but that was about the only issue.
