Todays Value ?

Well I have not posted much here, because things are changing fast here in Michigan. And not for the better. I bought my truck in May of 08 and looks like I may have to sell it. I have some pictures in my gallery, but have some more if needed. I also have a lot of the original parts off the truck. Not sure what it is worth to someone. I know what I would need to get out of it and not in that bad of a position yet where I need to give it away either. I am hoping for some idea of what I might be able to get for it
thanks
Dave

I just bought a 53 that runs and drives with 6 cylinder and 3 speed for 1000 bucks.
I also bought a 1956 F100 with a 6 cylinder and 4 speed for 1000 bucks and it runs and drives and stops. It is a Georgia truck and no holes in it.

I am sorry to say that when I look to buy 53-56 ford trucks....I like ford in a ford. Although alot of younger guys like the ease of a small block chevy for power and parts.
A guy on here awhile back-fastfew had a 56 with a 350 and had a real hard time selling his California 350 chevy 56 ford truck. I think he got way below his expectation and if I found a 56 that I wanted and had a 350 in it---the plus would be that it runs, and I would buy it if cheap enough. I would turn the 350 into a 351 ford asap.
JMHO and others will chime in soon. I hope you can keep your truck and make it into a real head turner, and hopefully can figure a way to keep it. Good Luck/Bill

It would be a shame to see you having to sell because of hard times, I've done that in the past with a 75 Ranchero that was in excellent shape but times got hard and had to make the same decision and have regretted it many times over. If I were ever to be in that predicament again I'd hold off as long as I could. Looks like you have done alot of nice work on you truck and would be a shame to have to give it up to find that things get better further down the road.

I agree with the regret. I am about 60-65% complete right now. Since the pictures in the gallery , I have added a tilt hood kit, and hung the doors, along with other things. I will hold out as long as I can, but still need to be realistic and look toward the future as bleak as it looks.
