Drop in Bed Liner

Drop in Bed Liner
Hi, I'm looking for a used drop-in bed liner for my 1985 F250 long bed, but I don't know when the bed sizes changed and if those changes affect the fit of the bed liner around the wheel wells, rails, etc. I would have liked to have a liner sprayed in, but that can be pricy, especially if you want a good prep job.

All bedliners from 80-96 should fit. I got mine from a junkyard for $40.00. I was happy with it(it covered the rust holes) till I went to put a riding lawnmower in the bed. It was a 48" cut mower, and the year before it went right up in between the wheel wells. After I installed the bedliner, it would not fit. A 4x8 sheet of plywood would still fit, but the stock bed is wider than 48" between the wheel wells, which is nice sometimes.

your not alone in this thought
I've got one you can have but I got no idea where you live... This brings up a pet peeve of mine, members should put their location in their profile and take 10 minutes to create their Gallery; don’t you think we would like to see the truck you list in your Sig? Okay I'm done...

I think my neighbor and I are still friends, so far. He stops by my garage every once in a while to see what I'm up to. The other day he brought his wife to see what's been happening to their old truck. She was afraid to ask to use it to haul some compost for her garden, but what's a truck for anyways!!??!!
I'm still weighing what to do about a bed liner. I'd rather not have the bed rust out by saving a few bucks with a drop in.

I have one of the drop in liners, and it has been there long enough before I got it to make impressions in the bed rails, so now it looks crappy without it. My floor is just fine underneath, I took it out a while back, and other than some dust, it is clean under there. I have plenty of holes for the gooseneck hitch to let things in as well... My truck was used by a local co-op, likely was a spray truck or such, as I have some extra wiring in it and a metal mount inside the cab. It survived their abuse... I don't like how slick the liner is though, it is way worse than the bed alone.
