hello guys my cousin right now has an 06 powerstroke and he said the most percent biodiesel he can run is 20%..now me n my dad have the 7.3 and we have bene running 100% and havent had a bit of trouble what is the most you can run in this 6.0?? i dont see why 100% wouldnt work??
I run B100 in my 6.0 and have had no trouble, it's all in the quality!! your friend may be concerned about his warrenty , even then b20 is to much ford only covers up to b5. my 6.0 actualy gets better milage on b100 than on the winter blend fuel.
ok yea i think that what he is worried about is his warranty, and the fuel me n my dad make is pretty good quality fuel hes been running it in his 99.5 7.3 for a year now with no problems...my question is whats the best and simplest way to dry the fuel?? we use and aquarim (sp) air pump and let it pump for 24hrs...
I've been makin fuel for a couple years now and have always done a wet wash with no problems. I've read about the magnesol but never did any in depth research. Whats the scoop with it? Price, how it works, benefits, downfalls, etc.

thanks for the link Don, I had to run out for a bit. magnisol is the way to go if you're wanting truly dry fuel and being that H2O is a big no no with PSD injectors you would be doing yourself and the truck a big favor!!
I have a 05 and all last spring and summer I ran b100 with no problems. I stopped making in September when school went back. I have a few hundred gallons of oil now waiting to be made. Lost alittle power and lag time was increased with the b100 but truck was quietier and my students loved the smell.
Pardon me for a minute. Hey TechEdFireman welcome to FTE. Where abouts do you call home? There are a few of us lurking here in the Capital District area. You could also join the NY chapter if you so choose. ok that's it from me.
