I notice that you have over 25 posts now, so its not that. When I click on your name there is no option to send you a PM, same with addicted56.........weird

It appears that the private messaging thing gets turned on for each person on an individual basis maybe...

I'm sure any Moderator/Admin type can "fix" it for you.

Ok,

I believe I have ZE answer!


Go to your User CP and select "Edit Options"

Scroll down to "Messaging & Notification " and "Private Messaging"

Place a check mark in box to the left of "Enable Private Messaging"

This will enable private messaging.......You can also change all the other options if you like...

Sam made a good point. Try saving the changes. It might even be worthwile to log out and log back in, heck, while you're at it shut down the whole danged brain box and restart everything.....who knows

Mine was already checked when I got there.. (I had that feature before).. so I just pressed save.. and voila it enabled PM for those that have it in THEIR profile..

Thanks Guys, tried logging out / logging in.....reseting changes / save changes...no matter what i do, i still don't have the Private messaging box to even tick, it's just not there........haha....

 

I am still in the same boat. I sent FOMOCO1 a request to get it turned on. I belong to probably a dozen of these things and they are all similar but I just can't seem to get the PM part on this thing to work to save my life. Thank you for all the help and suggestions though. You guys were very detailed and I'm glad you are all out there to answer my future questions on my truck?
