My wife sells on EBay. She just sold a John Deere Hooded sweatshirt for $35. Very nice profit considering it cost her $6.00. EBay is fine as long as you use some basic rules: Never wire money to anybody, Never give your CC # to anybody, and as stated already, start your listing at the minimum price you want for the item. Don't get me wrong I just sold a saddle some one gave me for $215. Ebay can be great my selling experience has been awesome. I just have not had any luck buying and not just being outbid a little. The welder I bid on just before I went on vacation I put what I thought was a good price in as my max bid. Came back from vaca. to find out the winning bid was almost a $100 more. I saw a set of running boards on there last month I could buy a brand new set and have them shipped to me for much less than they sold for.

Dave, that is what makes auctions interesting. I used to have an auction business and it was always interesting how some things that got sold were a real bargain and the next thing brought more than you could buy new at the local store.

It was interesting how some consigners would complain about a little item that didn't bring what it was worth, but forgot about the thing they sold for twice what it was worth.

Please don't let your facts and good points get in the way of my babbling!
