Suggestions...

I just picked this truck up the other night, and have been brainstorming ideas nonstop. I want to tint it out(35% front, and 0% rear). I was thinking a 3" body lift, 33" tires, and a flow master exhaust kit. Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas, I'd appreciate them.

Here's some pictures as the truck sits now.

I would go for a suspension lift instead of a body lift.

Ditto, take a look at the clearance between your I-beam/traction beam and bump stop, you'll see why.

Real nice truck. I have a 92 with a 3 inch body lift, to be honest with you I didnt like it. If you are dead set on lifting it go with a suspension lift. My truck has the 5.0 with 355 gears and ive run 33 on it before. It killed the power on it. I took the body lift off, drop the tire to a 31 and I absolutly love driving it. I would have kept the 33s and went with a suspension lift but at the time I did not have the money to change the gears to. This is just my personal opinion and experience. Good luck and keep us updated.

Yep, not a fan of body lifts either...

Manual hubs? I cant tell from the pic. That would be the first thing I would do if you drive it a lot on the street.

If you really want 33x12.5, I would go with a 1.5 leveling kit. As mentioned, though, you will lose power. I have 31" BFG AT's and that '"set-up" works well.

I agree, cancel the body lift and the 33's, try a set of 31's, maybe 32's AND most definitely put the saved money and time into the old 'stang in the garage!!

I moved up to 31/10.50's w/ the stock 3.55's, I personally wouldn't go any taller because as folks stated, torque wil go bye bye w/o gear change. Gear change is very expensive, especially on a 4x4.

Mine has been converted Warn premium manual hubs. Good mod like suggested. Not too expensive.

Goos looking truck, I like that front bumper. Tow hooks in there?
