What kind of milage is anyone getting?

 

dicsally, welcome to FTE. You will get more feedback on this question in the 6.4 diesel forum. Its been highly discussed believe me.

I wasnt aware that you could get 4.30 gears on a F350??? F350's come with 4.10 or 3.73 and now you can even get 3.55. I thought the 4.30 and 4.88 gears were only in F450's.

In general the mpg on the 6.4 isnt the best. Some get as high as 17-18 but most seem to be in the 14-15 mpg range (hwy of course). I have 3.73 gears and average about 12 (65% highway/35% city). Again, check out the 6.4 forum and you will find comparisons in city driving, hwy driving, towing all sorts of different weights, towing flat ground or through hills. MPG has been discussed once or twice.

 

It was available, but only on a dually, not on a single-rear-wheel (SRW) diesel. I believe too that 4.10 is only available on a dually, that it's not offered on a SRW diesel.
