I was not able to attend last year. I had just been released from the hospital and was on I.V.s at home. I had one of the club members cancel my room at the last minute.
There were 100 trucks registered. There were more trucks there who were not registered. Plus the club trucks were there (minus mine). The club trucks are not allowed to register or win any trophies.

The show is now held in "Area 57" between the Ramada Inn and the Dick Clark Theatre. No more walking up and down hills all day.
Area '57 - An out-of-the-ordinary space for today's outdoor events featuring live concerts, car cruise-ins, motorcycle rallies and more! - Branson, Missouri
Branson, MO offers plenty for the family to do in the evening after the event as well.
Hope to meet you there 3golfjack.

I asked my wife if she'd be willing to take a 10+ hour trip in the '48 panel, she didn't seem too thrilled with the idea. I'll have to work on her. I got the time and mileage from MapQuest, and I realize the time they estimated is for a modern vehicle traveling the interstate so I think I'd have to add 50% to that time. I could load it on the trailer and pull it down but I think a drive in the panel would be more fun.

That I understand. Sweet talk her. Maybe flowers or a gift would help.
Wherever I go...I am by myself. I am used to the heat, a rough ride, and NO AC. Then again...I have only driven mine 5 hours in one shot (minus gas and bathroom breaks).
I cannot edit my post above, but if anyone has questions about the show..either post them in this thread or E-mail me at blb1408 (at) hotmail (dot) com. I think I can answer most of them.
The club site has an E-mail addresses and phone number on it as well.
You don't need a truck to enjoy the show and visit with a lot of truck guys (and gals!). If I read it correctly (I may not have), the peoples choice last year was a ladies truck.
The club trucks cannot enter, but most of us just have beat up drivers. Only a few in the club have nice looking trucks. Some don't even own a truck. They just love the old fords.

I went last year for the first time and thought it was great! The heat sucked but,we pulled through it. It was the most F100's I've seen in one place this close to home. It really got my juices flowing. Hope to attend this year not sure yet. Won't have mine done yet , but its closer than I was last year. All kinds of things to do for guys and gals and Everyone needs to make a pitstop at Lambert's in Ozark Missouri halfway between Springfield and Branson.Home of the "Throwed Roll " best eatin around ! The place is really unique. Try it you won't forget it or go away hungry.
