For a couple weeks we were warmer than my dads home town in montana.
In 88 or 89 the only planes flying were the jets and otters. While trying to load the otters with soda it was blowing up as they took the pallets out to the planes.
It was that way for at least 3 weeks.

Never really noticed the cold though. We just went about our regular lives.
Went snogo riding and hunting. Kept the trucks plugged in all the time and put 5w30 oil in. Had to be careful on the river or you might break a leaf spring. River was colder than up on the banks.
