im in southeast mich near ann arbor, if any of you guys need 7.3 or 6.0 work done, i do side work after i get home from working on them at the dealer all day. 517-920-3048 chris
well I just talked to ford customer care they say the dealer can not find anything as far as the coolant issue. thats a joke., not only can you smell
coolant from the exhaust but my block tester showed + for combustion gases in coolant. at this point I will need to find a way to show ford
that the tech at this dealership needs training and get his head out of his
butt. need Ideas, got any.
sorry to hear that man, have you tried going to another dealerr to get a second opinion? itts worth a shot.
not yet I need to get truck from this dealer, then pay again to have another
dealer check it. no dealer I trust around here. I have had to repair what they did here at my shop. this just makes me so mad. you pay $ 47,795.63
cash for a top of the line truck and you get the shaft from the dealer you got it from.
if your still under diesel warranty should only cost yout 100 deduc
thats true., but you still need a tech that knows what they are doing.
I have been a tech and in this business for 37 yrs and I still learn things
every day. I picked up the truck last night and the tech told me he
was a mastertech and knew everything about the 6.0. I told him what an
*** he was and told him to smell the exhaust., see coolant smell and asked what was wrong. he said (quote) I don`t know with a dumb look.
I told him head gaskets you jack *** and drove home. got home shut off truck. tried to restart. IT WON`T START! it did start this morning. it will not go back there calling ford customer care monday I want the deduct I paid them back.
