I think all you need is a mometary switch. there are three wires going to it but i belive one is just for the light. I belive it works by sendinga ground to the PCM to disingage OD then agian when you reengage it. The best thing would be to get a new button though. they should be easy to get at the junk yard and im not 100% on the way ti works so dont go cutting and splicing wires just yet.

I had the same prob with mine, I jsut ended up pulling the plastic off the column and removing the pin on the shifter arm and just put a new one in it cost me 25.00 at the scrap yard and its super easy to replace.

Mine is broke too, there is three wires sticking out. Two of them engage or disengage od, i assume the other one is the light on the button. When i was at the parts house to get a new button they said I had to get the shifter and all. It did not look the same as mine on my truck so i didnt get it. Sometimes I accidently touch two of the wires together and it takes it out of od,then I have to figure out which two it is.

There is a connector down at the base of the shifter handle on the column. They may have just unhooked that. I would just get a new shifter handle. They should be pretty cheap and they are not too hard to change.
