I am replacing my ipr valve because of a stall, crank but no start problem.....The ipr valve has a hole in the screen.....What would happen if i did not replace the HPOP like ford dealership wants to do and just replace the ipr valve?? Thanks

 

Holes in the IPR screen are caused by debris in the system. This debris is usually a sign of a failing HPOP. If your HPOP is failing and you just replace the IPR, there is the strong possibility that when the HPOP fails altogether that it will take out your new IPR as well.
