Donald, if gray hair is pretty, I'm going to be OK! I have a blue Goodguys shirt just like yours. I'll probably bring that one (I don't have many good tshirts) but I'll most likely wear my very old and yellowing FTE shirt I got at the 1st Supernationals I went to about 12 years ago. It is white with a red 48 F1 and a new (then) red 97 F150.
I'm looking forward to seeing everybody.

Just kidding. I hope you get to make even if its for just 1 day.

I'd still be in for sure if it would just let up on the rain for a while. We still haven't gotten the first cutting of hay in yet, too wet to get into the field. Was going to do it today, but it's raining again.
I'm going to do my best to get up there, last year was great. To heck with taking Hwy 70, though. I think that added two or three hours to my trip on the way up. The show wraps up Saturday evening, right? I may try to take the following Monday off work and stay Saturday night, drive back Sunday.

Also the show is for the most part over after the awards Sat. night. But alot of folks grab a bite to eat after the awards and then stay up until the weee hours telling lies, I mean stories.
On Sunday we have some coffee and KK doughnuts and say our goodbuys.

We still need to get our first cutting too, but you can't make hay if the sun don't shine.lol
I'm getting stoked about the show. I got the trucks oil changed and lubed over the weekend. I'm ready to roll!

Brian, if you can't make hay you could come on down and help me put Homade back together, Oh Wait, I don't have the cab and doors painted yet or the bed put together. I'm going to have to work very hard to be ready for P F., I gotta go to the garage.
This is the list of folks going to the show. I've added a couple since the last posted list. Anyone else want to add your username to the list? Have I missed anyone?
As far as meeting time / place, everyone will be at the show so why not meet there. In tacson's pictures there is a nice shaded awning at the hotel entrance.
29 days till the Show!!!

The awning sounds good but me and my folks won't be getting there until Friday afternoon. Would Friday evening or Saturday morning be ok with everyone? If not then you folks go ahead and I will meet as many of you as I can at the show.

Then if you still cant figure out which one is Terry. He is the ugly one on the right. I am ugly one on left and Homade is the pretty one in the middle.
I want to look in the same mirror Homemade has been looking in. Talk about pretty, that thing works miracles. Ha,ha,ha.
Im no organizer by any means but a thought/idea I had is maybe 4:30 EST at the awning on the Friday of the show right before the burgers maybe. OR if that area will be busy with folks checking in or whatever maybe we could meet back at Rick's (Carolina Classics) booth. Maybe Rick will have some cookies, sodas, or something for his good friends ha ha
P.S. Rick I like Orange or Grape Soda

We will be arriving Thur. Staying at the Family Inns of America across the street from the Smokey Shadows. I will have the wife, two grandkids, 7 & 9 YO plus a neighbors kid 10 YO. No truck on this trip but plan on bringing pictures of the beasts (2 ea 56s). Part of my time will be spent with the kids at Dolly's water park and go cart tracks etc. but I will meet up with many of you. I'll try and have a FTE T-Shirt made up with my user name Brucelee but the IRS knows me as Tony. Just hope the weather is as good as it was last year!

That's always been my favorite part, the after the show hours when everybody is kinda hangin out, its semi-cooled off and it's just low key sittin around swappin stories. That was one thing I missed with moving the Supernats to Knoxville, once the show "closed" the gate closed and that was it, everybody dispersed until the next morning.
I went by to see my truck. After the little heart to heart talk last week, they seem to be working on it. The hood and fenders are painted, and I'm gonna bring them home Saturday. They've done some work on the doors and the roof of the cab...so we'll see. We may be putting this joker back together the night before we leave. Won't be the first time I've put one back together at the last minute.
