Just teasing. I do hope you get to go even without the truck. I am sure it will be a lot of fun.

Maybe 2 frosties.....haha.....
p.s.---how is that awesome frame coming along? Bill
.

I am all about the frosties man. I haven't started on the frame yet still have not decided what motor tranny that I want to go with big block or small block, fuel injection or carb I haven't ran across anything that has sparked my interest. It will be a Ford though.

I just bought another project a solid 49 Ford business coupe out of GA also. The car still has the flattie and runs. I have yet to go get it, trying to make that haul after memorial day.

We are coming along with the 40, Motor and trans are rebuillt, frame done, body work coming along. I actually been having to work alot at work lately.

Thats what I have so far, if I've missed anyone, or anyone else is going, qoute me and add your name to the list. Also you can add the day you're goin to be there to the list, since I didnt know that on some of you guys.

Alright, now all you guys/gals get busy so we can meet up! My wife is goin to make me up a T-shirt with my avatar on the front and maybe the back? and put FTE on the sleeve. You'll be able to find me. (I'm not sure thats a good thing or not?) Anyway, I hope to meet yall there Dont forget about Krispy Kreme down the street from the show

Truxx1956,

My wife, my new daughter (4 months old), and I will be attending the 2009 Great Smokey Mountain Run in June. Please add me to your list.

I have been working diligently on finishing my truck (1955 F100) for the show. It is my hope that I can get it finished on time and make the trek to Pigeon Forge.

We look forward to seeing everyone again and sharing a few doughnuts (or pancakes).

Lance

If the truck can't go, I'm not going. *pout*

I called the body shop today. He made the comment yesterday he couldn't put my truck ahead of other customers. It's a side job, but I am paying for it. So I politely informed him that money is no object at this point and I will pay whatever it takes to get the truck painted. He kinda chuckled and said, now, we don't want to be using up all your money... I said, no, you don't understand, I've waited 10 years to take MY truck to a truck show, I have health issues and never know what tomorrow, next week or next year holds, so you GET the truck DONE and don't worry about MY money.

He said things were slackin off and that he'd crack the whip and get them started on it for sure.

So it may not have trim or emblems, but as long as it's got an engine, trans and fenders, we'll roll. I WILL be there and I WILL drive my Little Black.
