I met Pat Ford at the Charolotte show, seems like a heck of a nice guy. Then I find out, he not doing this show anymore. I have not been to one yet. but I've read a lot of good reports last year and this year. Why is Pat out?

Pat sold his F-100 Supernationals show out to Charlie Cobble, and now is employed by Dennis Carpenter. The Smoky Mountain F-100 Run is a totally different show which has been said by many to be a lot better.

Hey All,
I say lets meet at 4:30 EST. at Ricks place(Carolina Classics) Rick, are you setting up at the same place as last year? If so then there is plenty of room there.

Well, its confirmed I'll be showing up Thurs afternoon sometime, got my room booked, and I'll be looking for yas at 4:30 Fri at the CC area.
I'll be riding in solo, couldn't find any riding partners...

I changed our reservations from that high dollar resort to the Ramada across the street. Like anyone really cares where I'll be sleeping, haha. My butt is gonna be at the show the majority of the time.

Also, there's a new truck mag coming out specifically for Old Ford trucks, I don't know if I can mention the name here without getting my butt chewed for advertising, but I know the guy starting the magazine and I've done articles for his other truck magazine in the past that has to do with Broncos, so I'll probably take a lotta pics and do a little article for the truck show. [Wow, that was one long sentence, heh.]

Look forward to meeting everyone on Friday evening and if anyone is around Villa Rica, GA, we may need to call in reinforcements on putting my truck back together. Body shop is shooting for June 19th to be done. June 19th?! That's like 5 days to put it back together.

Hey Melissa, I got a card in the mail for a new Ford truck magazine. It has our president and vice president's panel trucks on it. The pres's truck is turqouise (my favorite color) with '56 Fairlane "chrome" airbrushed on the side of it and next to it is Cooper's panel truck which is red and says NOS parts on the side of it. My truck was in front of them ,but the view of the pic cut mine off

I'm probably goin to subscribe to the mag.

Truxx, if you help anyone it had better be me, heck Melissa going to have hers together sooner than I am, projected finish date is midnight the 23rd so bring some tools to PF because we'll be putting Homade together in the parking lot and this is no joke, Garry

I told you I wish we lived closer. I'm having trouble gettin in MY shop. Currently, I have one friend on one side with a '54 panel truck on the other side a friend with a '68 Mustang and above me on the lift is my little bro's '55 Buick. I have 1/2 a bay and am building my dad's trike right now.

You know I'll help you if you need anything when we get there. If I had time, I'd come up there, but between dad's shop and all thats happend to him this year we're BUSY!!
