motor swap

I am putting a 429 with a c6 transmission in my 1966 ford truck i removed a small block engine with a 3 speed transmission, do i need a crossmember from a automatic truck there isnt enough room to put a mount on the transmission to the manual crossmember have a good dat kr cotter
