The tall foreheads on the forums advise the trucks will probably get more...
Reading into article there are issues with controlling heat produced via turbos and size of exhaust manifolds. My thinking is they will have considerable more room for larger manifold in a F150 vs the MKS or a Fusion etc.... I'd like the tq to be a bit higher. Although some will say it hits peak at @ 1500rpm etc so 350 is enough?
There is zero chance it will have less than the car version. The tq curve is very flat as is.
The only way is if they want to "steer" the work truck/towing folks to a different engine that has higher #s. Example: If the 6.2Lor a new 5.0L was an option and its figures were 400/400 then I can see the Twin Force staying at the mid 300 spot.
I really like the basic concept of this with the direct injection and all but a few things stand out to me that are not so impressive. The twin turbos are rated for 150,000 miles. I wonder how expensive they will be to replace. The fuel economy. If this engine gets 16 city and 22 highway with the Flex, I don't see it getting better than the 4.6 or 5.4 that ford already has. At least with what they have now there won't be a couple thousand dollar repair at 150000 miles!!

Pretty much what I was thinking PLUS, is there going to be an upcharge?

Yes, they said there is a extra charge for the engine, I can't remember if it was $700 or $900.
We can all specualte this thing to death but until it makes it's way to market, we will not know for sure what the final numbers will be or if it will be worth the extra cost.
