09 platinum is starting off with a positive reputation.
love mine, though ride is harsh on frost heaved roads, will report in spring when thingds settle down. rode in a tundra could not believe road noise exhaust noise etc. the ford is so much more refined and quiet though the tundra does have a better engine. i equate them to caveman vs football player both tough but ones got skills(f-150)

I can't agree the trundra has great ride it just toyota has crap stock tires as for the road noise I would have to hear for myself. But once you change the stock tires it should be a very very big difference !

What do u 09 owners think about the gass filler does it really keep dirt and water out and is it easy to use sure looks phony in the pics????

To be honest i aint really thought about the thing when i been filling up. Just get out the truck open fuel cap door and put the noozle in. It it nice that you aint got to thumble about with stuck and locked fuel caps plus you cant forget to put the cap back on.

Thanx for the info and the pic on the close up I can see ford now has put a rubber gasket between the door and the body which should keep most water and muc out..

pretty satisfied on day two with under a hundred miles. i keep making up excuses to run to the store and stuff just to take it for a spin. i am really impressed with the nav radio. i didnt realize it was capable of so much. you can control the fan speed and temperature vocally! i have ripped a few cds to the truck and it knows all the song names and album covers. sports scores, movie listings, and gas prices are all available too. i do think mine(fx4) is a bit of a low rider and the stock tires look like they belong on a lincoln.

well im at 290 miles and day two and love every minute in my truck ...the best part i think is the sync radio and back up camra and the ride and power is way greater than my 05
