Headers for my 292 Y-Block

I am thinking about headers and was wondering if anyone has info on the set that speedway sells?

Those headers are a worthwhile upgrade for the 292. Replacing the crossover pipe with a set of those headers in my '64 F100 definitely helped wake up my 292.

ANYTHING is better than that heat sink cross over exhaust. Just be sure to keep the plug wires away and you'll be fine with headers. A set of smithys mufflers are a requirement as well. They really sound great, not too loud , not too quiet,

you may also, consider Rams Horns...I was looking into putting them on my 239Yblock...John from Ford-Y-block sells them for about 375.00 They are great for any clearence issues...something I learned, as far as headers go, paying extra isn't such a bad idea...with headers you tend to get what you pay for...I had a nice pair on my 239Flattie, applied the smithy's...sounded great like Big say's!

Hey another heads up, you may want to check for any ground clearence issues, I followed your link above, some of those headers won't account for any lowering...just a thought....

For the money Low is right on, you can not beat ram horns. They fit, no wiring issues , no rotting headers or leaky flanges.

If money is tight headers are a cheap way to go with good performance.

I have both and like both, prefer rams but like the sounds of both with smithys mufflers and you will too.
