On the fence????

For those awaiting higher rebates on the 09' F-150 you might want to step back and read what Toyota is about to do. This should flow over to Ford and GM, in essence forcing them into the rebate wars in a bigger way, again???

Toyota fell behind Chevrolet and Ford in auto sales for December and was the only one of the top-five selling brands to lose market share. So after a 0 percent financing program failed last fall, Toyota is now preparing to pump money into consumer rebates

Where did you find or read this information? I guess I will not have to wait till labor day sale then if in fact they offer bigger rebates in the next few months. Curious to know how much they are willing to offer. They are not selling very good here. The dealers have at least 10 or more on lot. I saw one dealer had a nice silver platinum that had sold sign, probably ordered.

tseekins is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE. tseekins is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I haven't seen anything here in my area about rebates from anyone. Employee pricing is over. It should be interesting to see how motivated they all are to reign in sales leadership.

Automotive News which is the "grandad" of auto news. In essense what they said was Toyota will not stand by and watch its market share diminish. They have the fat wallet to throw serious monies where their mouths are. Which means Ford, GM, and Chrysler will follow. Which is great news for us.

Thats great for everyone but 2009 F-150 buyers. Not offered yet for the new trucks. They must be selling good in certain areas of the country as several have mentioned on this forum. Wait and see!
