Wich one do I choose???
Ive got so many ideas that Im just going flippin nuts man.. I really want to start on a project. Since its a new year and what not but just dont know which one. My wifes getting tired of me asking the same question, But I truly have come to a three way tie. I would truly get enjoyment out of doing up all 3 but can only afford to do one at a time. Thats all I can honestly afford. I came up with the conclusion figure that maybe if I ask the guys here what they would do. I could come up with a concrete decision.
So heres the question wich one of these vehicles would you do first and why? Any and all comments are welcome just help this crazy Canadian out if you can.
Thank You
So in this corner we have a 1987 Bronco II 2.9L 5spd 4X4.
And in this corner is a 1989 F-150 custom super cab 4.9L 5spd 4X4
And last but not least is a 1978 F-350 Flatdeck with a 390 and a 4spd
Now this maybe 1 of the strangest requests. But Iam truly

Here's just my thought, what's the end result level of each build to be used for as well as the estimated cost to build each one. If the bronco is for show & shine and the truck for a super nice driver, I do the bronco 1st, or is the flat bed the most important one needed right now.
Just trying to add some more confusion into the works.

K.. Ill answer that... The Bronco II want to use for wheelin I really like the wheel base and turning radius on it and plan to use it like I say for wheeling.
The truck for a good commuter shes on propane and is on the cheap side to drive And also for towing.
Now the flat deck would be used to haul. Haul what?? You name it

Think maybe Ill go with the Flat deck. That way like it was said if I have bigger parts for the other 2 then I can at least haul them. And the other point is that I wouldn't have to find someone to deliver for me.
Think Ill put a beaver tail and a pto winch on it as well so if I find any other projects I can haul them home as well and drive my wife batty.. LOL

Well a couple o more weeks and the beast will be mine.. Ive got a question though I noticed that when I originally looked at it that it wasnt on propane. Now most of the trucks 1 ton and bigger mostly run on propane. My question is if I find a good enough motor can I swap it out for something else. I dont see why not but you never know.. The motor that I think Ill be searching for on craigslist is a 5.8L I may have to transfer the the transmission as well but that not a real big deal. Is there any weired reason why I wouldn't be able to do this. I think the motor it has right now is a 400 it looks the same as my old 250 I had but unsure it could also be a 460 Im 95% sure that its somewhere in the 400 range. Is the a typical motor that Ford put into these trucks back then? And like I say can I do that motor swap.

Ford collection buildup
Here my Ideas for the crew. The Bronco II gets a 4.0 swap, Explorer front axle and Ranger 8.8 rear axle w/Explorer disc brakes, a 4" lift and 31x10.5R15 MT's. The 250 gets cleaned up, tuned up, freshened up and a little dressed up as a driver trailer puller. The flatbed now thats more my style. Let start this way; 7.3L turbo deisal (non-powerstroke, less wires no real computer) matchin 5spd, 10 1/2 sterling rear with discs. clean straight sheetmetal, fresh paint, custom steel (prefer Aluminum) flatbed with storage boxes, flaps and 5" stacks. 05 superduty front seat and dropped 2" front 3 1/2" rear,(tire/wheel swap can accopmlish) crome wheels and moving fast. and all 3 engines were avalible in that truck, the 5.8L 351M, the 6.6L 400M, or the 7.6L 460. they all share the same auto and only slight bellhousing, flywheel diffrinces in the stick, completely swappable on the cheap. The concern is if it's fuel injected 4.9L it should be a V6 and that is a whole other can o worms.
