Heads up on Rhino remanufactured engines and transmissions

On Oct. 9 2008 I had ordered a tranny for my 1998 expy, and still have not recieved. And after several calls and complaints to the company all I get is a bunch of lies or no answer. Now I decided to try them since they were cheap a my brother had previuosly purchased and engine for his bronco with no problems from them. But I have recently found several online complaints about this company and there not fullfilling their orders. And not standing behind their Ohso great warranties on their products. So I just wanted to give everyone on here a fair heads up about them before anyone else gets ripped off. Because I really do feel as though I got ripped off and robbed. I have since lodged a complaint with the Ny. state atty. generals office as well with several other people in my situation. Some of which have been waitting for almost 2 years. I hope some action is taken soon. I need my vehicle.

That sucks; I hate it when stuff like this happens. Not that it would help, but did you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, too?

Yes I did and all that they could tell me is that they have been getting several other complaints like mine, and that they are now an unreputable company. If you go to complaintsboard.com you'll find several other people with stories like mine. So I just thought you all would like to know this before you got ripped off. And the sad thing is that if you go to rhinoengines.com it says on they're site that they won the wuga award for customer service. I'd like to know how when they have NO service.

I bet it does, especially if you park your truck right behind the big boss's beamer.

they say that it's all parts backorder. they say that the big 3 is there great time of need has put some sort of hold on the aftermarket companies that they just cann't get the parts. And what they have been getting has been defective. and ya know backorder or not I would have just been satisfied if they'd just keep in contact and let me know what's going on. but they haven't and now my patience has run out.

On a big ticket item, ALWAYS pay with a credit card.
They will fight to get your money back. Your bank or your wallet will not.
