What are they giving you for the trade? I was gonna trade my 08 F-250 but probably try to sell instead as trade-ins on diesels are way below what they are worth. I was debating on Platinum or FX4, but may have to go platinum cuz gotta have the cold seats in south louisiana.

Well I would do it soon if you plan to trade the 08 F-250 while gas is low because it's going back up. See what they offer for trade first.

they offered 13-19k at different dealers. 16.5k at the dealer where i ordered my truck today but i'm going to try to sell mine. i payed 32k for it a year and a half ago plus another 5k or so in add-ons so anything under 20k would be painful. if i was in a humid area the cooled seats would be more of a must.
anyway i ended up switching to the sterling gray color(same as previous truck-lame i know) instead of the blue. i think the blue might be too flashy. heres the pic that inspired me to make the switch.

I've been trying to wait another year or 2 for a new truck (Ecoboost V6 sounds interesting), but I'm also getting that new truck fever now.

I'm also debating between FX4 Luxury package or a Platinum. I can add most of the same options to the FX4 that comes standard on the Platinum, yet the Platinum is still $3k more. Yeah, the Platinum is very cool but it is hard to justify spending that extra money. Plus I do like the Blue Flame color but it's not available on the Platinum.

I might just try emailing some dealers with some crazy offers on the Platinum, see if they will bite on like $10k off sticker.
