Morning BSers. Glad to see you're drinking the Heady Topper crap. Not my cup of tea - bitter stuff. Give me stouts or brown ales. Lots of good beer in VT. New brewery in St. Albans, 14th Star, is making some nice stuff.

If you brought this crap weather with you you can pack it and take it with you. We don't need any more rain or snow.

Thirsty Thursday so I'm sure you're already well on your way to the breweries tour. Make sure to sample a little or a lot of everything. Happy trails.

it is rated one of the very very best double IPAs in the country.

I can get you Heady right here in town. And yes, it gets all kinds of kudos as a double IPA. But if you aren't an IPA fanboy, you will hate Heady.

And its snowing here - yahoo!

 

i am 100% a hophead. it's right in my wheelhouse.

had a dusting here this morning too. i just want to get the boat out.

 

Well then you'll love Heady. It is as bitter and skunky as anything I've ever had. I can stand a little hops but this is just waaaay too far on the bitter side for me.

Heck of a marketing job though. People line up outside the store when they know there's going to be a delivery. Store limits you to one 4-pack. Lots of out-of-state plates buying beer.

 

yeah same hype here with the KBS. fortunately i have developed a relationship with my local beer/liquor store and he always saves me some.

but alchemist doesn't even distribute here in MI.
