LOL!...I got your message, and was really excited until I talked with John M. from ford-y-block.com on the matter of some ramhorns...I asked his opinion about the head swap, he said the application of the swap would work, but there would be some cooling issues due to different water passages...via routing porblems...overall, he didn't suggest it...bummer, but i did find the ramhorns!!! spendy buggers $375.00

Regarding 239 heads. I had one once, until it went into the metal scrap. Didnt look at the ID, but the combustion chamber was a surprise. Rather than the quench area running straight across the head giving a half moon effect, it was more like a number 3 laying down, with built casting partially encircling each valve. The valves were "shielded" almost 270 degrees if memory serves. My immediate impression was that the volume of the chamber would be a lot less than most of the other heads. IF so, changing a set of these to a later 292 of 72-78cc could be disaster for the CR of the small displacement 239.

low 54---there is a 56 bigwindow on the classified section under 48-60 site with a California 56 big window. I am interested in it,but most likely will pass. I prefer the small rear windows.
The price is reasonable and although the drivetrain is chevy......that can be changed, unless you are into that.
Again....as I said before that I am sorry for the hassles and you can always write me if you need any help.
Bill
