Can 20" chrome wheels go through carwash without damage?

Has anyone taken their truck with the 20" chrome wheels through a car wash? It looks like they may hit the guiding tube and get scratched because they are almost flush with the side of the tire. Picture of my wheels.

Well since they are attached to a ford, they will be fine. If you put those wheels on a dodge, chevy, toyota, gmc or nissan they would scratch horrible and probably fall off!!

my oem 20's fit with no problem. Any rubbing on the rail is done by the tire, not the wheel at the car wash I take mine to.

edit: sorry, mine is a 250 and might be different.

I'd be as worried about the caustic wheel cleaners on that finish as was about the guides.

find a laser guided car wash... no rubbing problems there.

or just wash it yourself then no worries bout your wheels getting scratched. and plus in my opinion an actual person cleaning them is better than a computer ran thingy.
