Would anyone know where I could get a rebuild kit, or a new correct replacement brake proportioning valve for my 1978 F150 2wd WITHOUT going to an aftermarket adjustible replacement?? Thanks!!

Follow the link: http://npd.dirxion.com/Main.asp

Take your old one out and completely dismantle and clean every thing up. They accumulate rust particles over the years and can sometimes be salvaged.

Cast Kelsey Hayes cast valve

Hl folks, I have been trying to locate the part number on this valve and haven't been able to find it in my 73-79 parts catalog. The number I thought it was but it is the brass one. Not sure if it will Interchange or I'll have to see about refurbishment of the original.

The part number is on the side of the valve next to the frame. You have to remove it to see the it. There's a place in PA that refurbishes these but quite expensive. Just had mine done.
