Sitting in front of a warm fireplace, sipping on a beverage or two and reading FTE messages. Not a bad way to spend an evening!

Tomorrow is a work-outside-in-the-cold day. A few of us volunteer laborers plan to install a backstop for our 50 yard outside pistol range. Only mental cases would do stuff like this....

The fireplace is far more inviting.

I don't mind the cold it is the SHORT days that drive me crazy. I loose all my motivation at night when the sun goes down.

I would like to invite everyone in CT to come join the MA chapter at our January GTG.. We missed the World of Wheels Show in Boston due to the white crap..

So I have relocated the event to January 25th in Springfield MA..

It is a 2hr drive for many from MA to Springfield and probably the same for many of you..

This is a good opportunity to meet other FTE members..

My wife is getting back to me concerning my itinerary for the 25th.

If I don't have any obligations then I intend to show up.

I have a LGB Christmas Train set, the rolling stock stretches eleven feet iirc.

The Tender is also a traction unit.

 

That would be a negative.

Its just a goat. I thought it would be fun to have as an avatar, its pretty unique.

 

I have some 027 gauge Lionel trains and equipment but haven't set them up in quite some time..

Just waiting for my grandson to get a bit older.. If I set them up now he would destroy them.. He is only 2yr old so that would be expected..

Lionel went out of Business in 2008, take good care of that set.

My daughter has a Lionel - Thomas The Tank Engine set.
