How do I put pictures in my gallery???? I'm about to loose my cool.
I created a gallery, installed java and some active x controll (i hope that was a good Idea) that FTE said I needed to click and drag pics.

Now when I go to edit my gallery the screen freezes. If I click and drag a pic to the area that says gallery name, the picture takes up the whole screen.
I searched forum and found no help.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not computer compatable

Try to reboot your computer. Sometimes new programs upset computers.

Ok, thanks good to know.
I did just turn it off and wait a minute or two and back on now. I'm afraid to go to gallery caus I'll have to "end task" on enternet and sign back on.
Ok, im going to try to edit gallery for the fifth time.

No change. I uninstalled java. I went to edit gallery and I froze up again. I had to end task (program not responding) and signed back on the net once again.
I think the cure for this it to forget it...Or run over my pc.

Sounds like your pc has a problem. Do you ever get to the page where you select the photos?

no, never.
Before i downloaded java, I think I would hit "edit" from the edit gallery page and it would have 6 boxes at the bottom of that page that said "BROWSE" next to each one.

Okay instead of using the drag and drop try below that there is a place you can browse and upload 5 pictures at a time click one of the browse buttons pick the folder that has your pictures in it select a picture move to the next one this time your folder should already come up just select a picture when you have all five or just one or two which ever click the upload button repeat till you have all the pictures you want in that gallery.

Edit: Depending or your Internet connection it may take a bit to upload them as well which will seem like the computer is not doing anything.

Ok, Thanks. I did see that page at first. I think something snuck in my pc. I used to see that page with the 5 boxes. As soon as I loaded Java and that darn active x controller things started acting bad.
Maby I should have said yes to load Java but No to the active x when AVG asked me if I wanted to load them.

I'm really ticked off.
its time for a beer and some tv
I'm out for the night,
Thanks for the support thus far, see yall tomorrow

I ran into the same problem so I just add them to the browse function and do it that way.

I was having the same problem last weekend, skipped using the drag & drop, put the files in thru the browse page, it loaded the first picture fine but that was it, did not load the second one and it locked up on every attempt after that. I'll try it again tonight and see what happens.
