Welding stainless and aluminized pipe
Gene, you shouldn`t worry about getting ill over the SS or Alum. coating. Welders weld it all the time with no effects. If your welding it, you prolly want to burn or buff the alum. coating off of the pipe for easier welding. It will let your metal tie in together. The main concern you have is getting the right rod to tie the carbon and SS together. Prolly be a rod called "inco-A" or "inco-B" . Get with a welder in your area or go visit a welding supply shop. They will point you in the right direction. Hope this helps!!
