I want to be the first to congratulate our chapter leader Stan.
On January 5th, he will officially be a Broken Arrow Police Officer!
Congrats Stan! You earned it!

Congratulations Stan, I'll be sure to keep my speedy little red truck out of Broken Arrow!!! Will they give you your own car to take home?

Aw, jeez....I hafta drive thru there (and Bixby) just about every day...and just when I got to know most of 'em..... J/K
What shift you working? I mean, it might look bad to my customers if I got pulled over just for flying the FTE banner on the back window....
Congrats, Stan, I know you worked hard for it. Most importantly, BE SAFE. It's a thankless job, but there are those of us who really appreciate what you're doing......
Pete
PS- Were you in that LINEUP they showed on channel 6 the other morning?
Mike, I do have my own car, however, because I live in Verdigris, I cannot take it home with me. Unfortionately the limit is 4 miles outside of the city limits... I am about 8...
Pete, my first shift (for the next four weeks) will be Sat-Tue 3p-1a. Next four weeks will be Wed-Sun 9p-7a. Then three weeks 7a-5p (not sure of the days) and finally one more week on evening shift again. This is what's considered my FTO stage, which I will ride with a veteran officer.
And yes, I was on the news. Actually, channel 8 interviewed me... that was nerve wrecking. On the line-up, I would have been the second one from the right.
Thanks for the well wishes everyone, and I hope to see you all soon. Were you guys game for a gtg???
Oh... and FTE stickers might get a break! Well... we'll see.
Does a BLUE OVAL get a break???

Congratulations, Stan! That is an awesome accomplishment. So what shift do they have you working?
I would have replied sooner, but this gang of Chevy truck owners jumped me a few months ago, kidnapped me, locked me in their garage and played 'Like a Rock' over and over as they tried to convert me to the other side with pretty new glossy truck brochures and the promise of better gas mileage.......Yea right, I've just been too lazy/busy to get online much the last few months. Sorry, ya'll. I'll try to do better this year.
