Question Blowing Oil

Just put my 460 together now i have major oil leak ?? New edelbrock performer rpm , New 770 Holley , New voodoo cam lifters springs retainers Ect. My question is i think the oil is leaking from rear of intake i used new valley pan BUT didnt use the front or rear rubber strips instead used a very heavy bead of { rtv } this is the first time i ever used rtv instead of rubber gaskets . Do you guys use gaskets or rtv ??? Also after changes i have oil blowing out around oil dipstick never had this problem when engine was stock !! I am useing PCV valve and vented oil cap but it seems i have increased the crankcase pressure any ideas on better venting ???

Make sure the PCV valve is functioning, tighten the intake again, give the rings some time to break in,check the oil level, might have too much

I've always used RTV instead of end seals with aluminum manifolds.
Are you sure the oil pressure sender is not leaking at the back of the block?

*edit* I'm pretty sure Edelbrock says specifically to only use their 7223 gaskets with the Performer-RPM. (no tin pans)
X2 on giving your rings a chance to seal...

Any RTV sealant needs the proper amout of curing time. Normally like over night or a day should be enough before running the engine.

When I bought my '77 F250, it was leaking in the same place. I took the intake off and found a bead of RTV instead of a gasket. I replaced the valley pan and used the rubber gaskets that came with it. It's been a year now and is still bone dry.
X3 on letting the rings seat.
