Stake Bed for 47 1-Ton

Good Afternoon, I'm a new user to this website. I own a 1947 Ford 1-ton stake-bed with a 351W engine and A/T. The body, frame, etc. are pretty much stock. Any suggestions where I can get a replacement stake-bed or the wood for my 47? Northern Classic Truck no longer sells them. By the way, I live in Western NC in a small town called Sylva, close to Cherokee and Maggie Valley. Thanks in advance. Roy

i have some pretty cool stake pockets and the outer band I saved when scrapping a 47 ford fuel truck, however, I'm in CA so shipping might be a bit much. can send you a photo if interested.

welcome to the group. don't have any info on kits, but, how tough would it be to contact a sawmill to cut what you need? just a thought. glad to have another member around. put pics in your gallery when you get a chance.
