Hi Riceman,
Welcome to FTE.
If you have a specific technical question, please don't post it in the FAQ. Starting a new thread will get a lot more people reading your question and be able to help you better.
As for your other question about a '76 F250 vs. an '86 Bronco, you could try posting that in the general discussion thread:

Hi there, welcome to the Forums and the 78-79 club sorry to hear about your step-father. Death is a cruel thing.
About the bronco though, what kind of noises is it making? A stock PS pump for these broncos typically took Type F auto transmission fluid. You can pull the cap off and see what color the fluid is, if it looks redish purple then it's good but if it's brown then it's contaminated and needs to be flushed out. If it is good and you still think there is air in the lines, you can jack up the front axle so both tires are off the ground, then start the truck and open the PS pump cap and *slowly* turn the wheel let and right, lock to lock. If the fluid starts to go down a little then it is bleeding air out but if it stays pretty much where it was then it's fine. Make sure it's topped off.
Sometimes the original Ford PS pumps start to whine when they get some miles on them, that can only be avoided by replacing or rebuilding the PS pump. If you got more questions there is a fancy search bar up at the top of the forums and if you search around you can probably find the info you need. There are tons of threads based around similar issues which might get you where you need to be.

Hi Gigi, welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear about your step-father. That's never easy.
As for the issue, as stated dozens of times in this FAQ, please don't post tech questions. You're also not going to get a lot of help by posting in here since not too many people are going to read it.
If you can't find an answer using the search feature, start a new thread on the subject and you're bound to find help. Best of luck.

Looking for any tips or advice yall maybe abke to pass along to a first time bronco buyer. It supposedly runs good and needs belts tires and a tune up they are asking 1500 and pretty firm about it. Its a 1980 full size has the 400 and a c6 tranny 4x4 says there's a cam and air intake on it. Any tips as to things I should look at a little harder to make sure I don't end up with a lost cause. Thanks.
