Dear Duane,

Why are so many of the pickups from 1988 to 2011 rusted out so bad above the rear wheel wells? It seems that with today's technology, we would somehow be able to avoid that, like undercoating, or galvanized steel. I don't feel like older ones did it as bad, unless it was completely ignored through its life. Its not just Fords, or Chevy's, its also Dodges, and many others. Also, I wonder why its mostly just the back fender wells, not as much the front ones?

The wheel well rust seems to have been a built in technology from the mid 1970s until now.

I think you might be right, but seems like the newer trucks seem to be doing it quicker and quicker. Guess the theory of a 11 year design life when engineering these trucks, must hold true.

Dear Duane,

Recently, it seems that people expect that if someone identifies themselves as something that they are not, that the rest of the world is expected to accept that and treat them as such.
I wish to be identified as a senior citizen from now on. I would like to start accepting my social security and get discounts on food and movie tickets. As others have been flexible in this process, I expect the same cooperation when I explain that I will need the senior citizen discount from now on.

Dear Duane,

The weekend is finally over, its nice to get back to work to sit here mindlessly and rest for a few hours before focusing on the task at hand and running out the clock.

As I sit here all broken hearted, tried to think but only farted. Guess I should slow it down on the beans intake for a while.

Dear Duane,

Why did I find a Post-It Note attached to my desk that said "Blank" What is it referring to? Why is it in my handwriting?

Dear Duane:

Did Garden Spyder ever really have it? He can't remember receiving it. Is it still in the mail?
