What was the highest price of fuel you recall in 2008?

please post where you live and the highest you remember it being, and then post what it is now for comparison. Im interested to see the then vs now percentage differences and compare

So say in Grande prairie it was 1.50/L at the highest, and now its 81 cents. That means now fuel here is about 54% of what it was at the highest.
In Edmonton lets say it was 1.45 a liter and its 73 cents now, that would mean its about 50.3% of what it was. This also means that Im paying roughly 4% more than you are, at the current price drops.
Ya'll follow?

I saw fuel in Edmonton for 67.5 at 7/11 gas stations just before Christmas. The highest I paid was about $1.43 at the cardlock.

We live in Spruce Grove and had to go to B.C. last August for a birthday celebration for one of the wife's very old relatives.

The highest gas price we paid was something like $1.58/litre in Revelstoke, B.C. and the really irritating part was that there had been so many gas and dashes that you had to stand in line behind all the yobs buying lottery tickets, leave your credit card, then stand in line again to pay.
