MY 2005 F-150, 5.4L, 55K miles has gone into "limp home mode" three times in the past week. Each time I pull over stop the engine wait 30 seconds and it starts up again and runs fine. The service engine soon light became lit after the second time. I pulled three codes off of it P2104 Throttle actuator control system - forced idle, P2111 TAC system - stuck open, and P2112 TAC - stuck closed.

Looking for some help here was thinking I may have to replace the whole throttle body. Sucks it's out of warrenty.

 

I have the same thing going on on my truck.The not so funny thing is it happened out 55,000 miles.
The same exact codes.Had them cleared twice and have not come back for two weeks.
