I bought mine with 103K on it...and...it's been pretty much trouble free for 3 years. That is...until I ran over that damn tree limb!!!

I've tried buying another one...but I haven't been able to find one that suits me...or my budget.

I found an 01 SE for my kid last summer with 96K for $3500 and is spotless inside and has a small dent behind driver side headlight.

My first truck was an 85 f150 with the 4.9. I paid 800 bucks for it. I traded it in on my last truck after three years.

I found an '01 SE wagon...88K...guy wants 2 gee whizzers. It doesn't have a power seat...that's important for me.

I also found a 2002 SES...40K miles...moon roof...for $5500...not a terrible price...but more than I'm willing to pay. I think wholesale...my top dollar for that one would be $4500...still more than I want to pay...but a decent buy.

The 4.9 was a sweet motor...I still have customers complaining that Ford doesn't have it anymore.

I actually never thought that Penn State would win...I was just trying to cement my status as an instigator. I'm kind of disappointed no one from PA had my back!!!

Well...looking at it from the bright side...I wouldn't want to waste my luck on a college football wager...not when PowerBall and MegaMillions pay so much better!!!

I loved that motor. You couldnt kill the thing. I had the 7 qt. oil pan on it from the factory. I had to run a mixture of 10w40 and 15 w 50 diesel oil in it to keep it quiet. I had run first gear out one day going to a two alarm fire. I was running it at 50 miles an hour in first gear. The motor was screaming pretty loud.
