NGK Glow plugs

I've searched and did not find what I was looking for.

Has anyone tried NGK glow plugs? Are they any good? Other than Motorcraft what other good brands are there?

Thanks

NKG made good plugs for 2 strokes didn't like them for anything else.
I havn't heard of anyone using their gp's it is pretty well agreed that beru gp's are the only ones that never swells up causing major problems.
I understand O'reillys sells the beru plugs.

I have seen Champion, heard of Bosch, Wellman, Autolite, A/C Delco, BWD, Neihoff, etc. I have personally seen and heard of problems with Champions and Autolites, and haven't heard anything good about any of the others.

If you want to be the Guinea pig, and start testing some of these different brands, we would welcome your info, but most people are too scared they will have to remove the cylinder heads when one of them swell up and break off, so we all go ahead and use the ones that are known to last. These are Motorcraft or Beru. I believe Beru is the original German manufacturer. I got some International glowplugs off ebay, and they were also Beru's.

I've only used the BERU in my 7.3s but have had good luck using the NGK in my 5 cylinder Mercedes diesels.
