Lead Head has a good reputation on FTE. Lead Head has a good reputation on FTE. Lead Head has a good reputation on FTE.
One thing to consider is that Dodge did not actually have a 1 1/2 ton and up chassis cab configuration until 07

Problem with the Sprinters is they are expensive and have a tiny motor in them.

I see lots of different cop cars and in my area Expeditions and Explorers are poular for the local cops. The state cops run crown vics here. The Crown Vics are still made but only offered in fleet form. You can still get the Mercury Grand Marquis the last time I looked.

I believe Dodge has a deal going with Sterling because I've seen 4500s and 5500s with Sterling badges on them.

Sterling Bullet. The dodge looking thing.Check it out here ---> Sterling Trucks - Sterling Bullet And the biggest reason the crown vics were cop cars was price, and ford was willing to work with the gov't and give em what they needed, gm said hell with that, they didn't need gov't business anyway.

And a Ford site isn't the best place to get objective views on a Ford v. Dodge issue...

Sterling bullets are no longer being made, they are just selling off stock. The Bullet program is canceled.

I may be mistaken, but last I heard Sterling was cancelled, not just the bullet. With the split of Daimler and Chrysler, Sterling was to divided between the two (lots of american chassis with MB diesels) neither party wanted to buy the other out. They have or are going to stop production and have guranteed parts availability for a few years into the future.
